Immune System Resilience

Is your immune system resilient? How do you know your immune system is resilient? Is there a test to know? How much will that test cost? Here’s some good news! You don’t have to spend a dime to figure out the answer to these questions!

My passion is helping others experience optimal health. I frequently ask myself “How can I help my friends, family, neighbors, my acquaintances stay well or increase their wellness?”. The answer is finding a way to create Immune Resilience. Another question is “How do we do that?”.

I believe the first step to acquiring Immune Resilience is determining how well your immune system works. Our immune systems work internally and externally. Internally, our immune systems are working to defend against things like diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, auto-immune diseases, etc. Externally, our immune systems work to protect us against pathogens like viruses, bacteria and parasites.

So how well does your immune system work? 1) Are you sick 3-4 times a year or are you sick once in every 2 years? 2) If you get sick, do you recover quickly or does it take weeks? 3) How many antibiotics do you need in a years time? 4) When was the last time you could say you felt “awesome”? Do you feel awesome most of the time, occasionally or rarely? 5) How often do your feel energized? Do you have the energy to enjoy life or do you just get through your day? (AND you can’t blame it on your age!) 6) How well do you sleep? Do you get 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night? 7) How much water do you drink? 8) Do you spend time outside?

Answering these questions honestly will give us insight on the Resilience of your Immune system.

Next time, we will discuss how you can build immune resilience and strength.
